The Oak Creek Wildland Crew also participates in prescribed burning.  s in the midwest.  This gives our crews valuable training in the early spring and late fall.  

Locally we help property owners burn off fields and areas that need to be mitigated to reduce wildfire potential. 

Our crews also travel twice a year to the midwest to help with burning thousands of acrea of grassland and wetland.
