The Oak Creek Fire Protection District adopted and is enforcing the 2009 edition of the International Fire Code.  In addition to the 2009 IFC, OCFPD also has additional standards for roadways, signage, hazard marking, and lock box entry.

OCFPD is responsible for the reduction of fire hazards through education, plan reviews, inspection, and code enforcement.
